Cadillac unveiled the 2014 Cadillac CTS on Tuesday in NYC — and they’ve really done their homework. That means a new, lighter, rear or all-wheel-drive chassis and an engine lineup that features a 321 hp 3.6-liter V6, 272-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder and GM’s first twin-turbo V6 engine, which churns out a potent 420 hp.
The rear-wheel-drive V6s also get Caddy’s first 8-speed automatic transmissions, while the rest get by with updated six-speeds, including a manual for the turbo. Magnetically controlled active suspension is optional.
The Cadillac CTS will be built in Lansing starting this fall.
