Make these slow-cooker BACON baked beans for your next picnic or Labor Day party, and you will never buy them at the deli again! They're super easy to make! Just dump all the ingredients in the crock pot and let them simmer overnight. The bacon gives these beans a delicious, smoky flavor that you will be dreaming about later!
Here are the ingredients:
(I soaked my beans overnight, but to make it way easier, just buy canned beans)
2 cans kidney beans
2 cans pinto beans
1 can black beans
1 large onion, diced
1-1/2 cups ketchup
1 small can tomato paste (for depth in flavor)
6 slices thick cut bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
2 tablespoons worcestershire
salt and pepper to taste
cayenne pepper (if you want a little kick)
Here is how I made them:
This is about as easy as can be! Dump all the ingredients into the crock pot. Turn on low and let 'em go for 8 to 10 hours! You can then keep them on warm and transport to your party! Rock on and Bon Appetit!
