Have you ever noticed that the time in an Apple product's photo is 9:41AM?
The display time was originally 9:42AM, for that was the exact time when Jobs introduced the iPhone to the world in 2007. Jobs later changed the recurring time to 9:41AM, when he introduced the iPad.
However, the Apple Watch isn't like other Apple products because it shows 10:09AM. The reasoning behind this odd and minimal difference stems from the fact that the product is a watch. Watch brands usually show the time 10:10AM so that the hands do not cover the brand's logo on the face.
Jobs chose the presented time to be 10:09AM in order to be different and show that they come before the other watch brands.
