Is Your Dog's Name One Of 2017's Most Popular?

While Fido and Spot might be the cliché dog names you hear in movies, it turns out dog owners are getting much more creative as they pick out names for their furry companions.

Rover.com took a look at some of the most common dog names in America and had some interesting findings.

In the male category, pet owners were fond of the names Max, Charlie, Buddy, Cooper, and Jack.

Other popular choices included Rocky, Bear, Duke, Toby, and Tucker.

For females, Bella landed the top spot, followed close behind by Lucy, Daisy, Lola, and Molly.

Rounding out the list were Sophie, Sadie, Bailey, and Maggie.
