This weeks Feel Good Friday story comes to us from right down the road at Oakland University and Head Basketball coach Greg Kampe.
Kampe has been at the helm of OU basketball for over 30 years but has never been faced with a more serious situation than the one he just survived.
Kampe was in ICU from July 16th to the 20th after suffering from a severe case of sepsis after a infected kidney stone gave him blood poisoning.
Greg had a temp of 106.7 degrees, a heart rate of 146 beats per minute, at one point they were throwing ice and cold water over him to try and bring down the temperature.
In all it ended up being three surgeries total, six infected kidney stones.
Hear Kampe talk about the infection and give his advice to men all over the country.
