The St. Clair Riverfest, presented by McLaren Port Huron, will be a three-day summer-fun festival July 27-29 along the banks of the St. Clair River in Palmer Park located in beautiful downtown St. Clair. Now in its 13th year, St. Clair Riverfest runs in conjunction with the St. Clair River Classic Offshore Powerboat Race and combines the thrill of offshore racing with live music by national recording artists to create a fun-filled summer weekend.
Musical headline performances by American heavy metal rockers Great White on Fri., July 27, presented by WCSX, and Detroit-born alternative rock band Sponge and Metallica tribute band ONE on Sat., July 28, as well as other local and regional musicians/bands performing Friday and Saturday nights. Along with these musical acts, there will be plenty of entertainment and activities for all ages including an “Amazon” zipline, climbing rockwall, bungee bounce, human “hamster” ball race, obstacle courses and many more.
A highlight of the weekend will be the St. Clair River Classic Offshore Boat Races, happening each day of the event, which has been a tradition in Southeast Michigan for more than 20 years. This awesome display of power on the water is produced by the Bluewater Offshore Racing Association (BWORA) of St. Clair, Michigan.
