Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and a living link to that city’s halcyon days of electric blues.

He has received six Grammy Awards, 34 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has received), the Billboard magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him as one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.”

In 2012, he published his long-awaited memoir, When I Left Home. His latest studio album, Born to Play Guitar, earned him a 2016 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album.

As a 12-year-old, Jonny Lang began a journey in Fargo, ND that has brought him to points across the Globe. The path has brought him the opportunity to interact with some of the most respected legends in music. On the way up, he has shared the stage with The Rolling Stones, B.B. King, Aerosmith, Sting and Buddy Guy.

In January, 1997, at the age of 16, Lang found incredible success with the release of his major label debut album, Lie To Me. The critically acclaimed multi-platinum album reached #44 on the Billboard 200. The following year he released Wander this World, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album. The more soulful Long Time Coming was released in October 2003 and reached #17 on the Billboard 200. The gospel influenced Turn Around was released in 2006 and earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album.

Following Turn Around, Lang made the decision to forego the major label route and became an independent artist. The first result was 2009’s Live At the Ryman followed by his latest studio album, Fight For My Soul (September 2013), which topped the Billboard Blues Album chart.
