January 29, 2018 Cold As Ice - Ice Fishing Tournament It may have been 40 degrees but the ice was still frozen Everyone was eager to check in and get on the ice! Ready before the sun's even up They look ready to start ice fishing It's little but it's a start! Three holes are better than one for catching fish! Waiting for a bite Caught one! Because every fish needs a close-up Proud of his catch! Nothing like ice fishing Just a few of the many shanties out on the ice It was the perfect day for ice fishing! Someone even brought their four-wheeler! Big Jim was talking to everyone in the tent Our sponsors brought games and fun, too. Pretty cool clock Could it be a winner? There's a lot more where they came from! It was quite a successful fishing trip Showing off Big Jim looks pretty amazed by that catch! Let the weigh-ins begin! Look at that monster We had to see who caught the longest fish Looks like a big one Everyone was excited to hear who won the money! Third place was top 5 panfish and Michael Colombo took that home James Pype won second prize with the heaviest pike! One thousand dollars for a fish, you bet he's excited! Robert Nielsen won first prize with top ten perch Congratulations to all of our winners! Thanks to the Lake St. Clair Walleye Association who made this all possible!
