Background: Ringo Starr says that when he thinks of "Photograph" he remembers writing it with George Harrison -- and the difficulty he encountered in doing so. He explains:

“I was in Spain at the time that I wrote it and I bought this Spanish guitar and George was trying to get me to play other chords besides E, which I played. So he taught me C and C was just so hard. It’s D to E, the original [sings then yells in frustration] But that’s how it started, so, you know, they just arrive. But the sentiment of that song I love.”
