John Lennon's personal diaries and other personal items that were stolen from Yoko Ono's Manhattan home during 2006 have been recovered by police in Germany.

Berlin police found the items during a recent morning raid, posting a Twitter message on Monday (November 20) that said, "Thanks to the intensive investigation of our colleagues from the CID unit responsible for combating art crime, items belonging to John #Lennon's estate were seized and one suspect was arrested due to fraud and receiving stolen goods."

A second suspect in the case is currently in Turkey, according to police. Neither the police nor Ono have said what other items were recovered, or whether they'll be returned to Ono or held as evidence for the time being.
