“We did it at Bob Dylan’s house and it was a great session, I remember, ’cause it was Roy and everybody and that was the first time we had the five acoustics playing rhythm. Wow, what a groove! Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison in the same group was just enough to knock it over, you know. Wow, totally magic! It was a great session. I remember we did it in the afternoon and we had a barbecue, then we did the vocals on the night and it was that quick. It needed a bit of finishing off, a few lead guitars and that, but the whole song was finished in one afternoon and evening.”
