Trains In Japan Bark Like Dogs So Deer Don’t Get Run Over
In order to protect wildlife Japanese trains are now barking like dogs and snorting like deer to prevent from killing deer that are on or near the tracks.
Not sure if you knew, but deer often get together and lick tracks in the evening and late at night, and because of this it has led to many deer losing their life.
To test it, officials played a deer snort for three seconds and 20 seconds of a barking dog from a train car. From this test officials say there has been a 45% decrease in deer sightings near the tracks.
