Ernie Harwell, a Detroit Sports Broadcasting Legend, would have turned 100 years old today (January 25).

Harwell spent over a half-century calling games for the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, Baltimore Orioles and, from 1960-2002, the Detroit Tigers. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1981. In 2010, after a battle with cancer, he died in his home, surrounded by family at the age of 92. In honor of Ernie Harwell’s 100th birthday, we brought back some of his Classic Catchphrases.
