Iconic guitar maker Gibson is reportedly facing bankruptcy, and CEO Henry Juszkiewicz is pointing fingers at retailers.

In an interview with Billboard, Juskiewicz says brick-and-mortar guitar stores are "just panicking" over the rise of e-commerce.

He criticized music stores for being 'unfriendly' and keeping the guitars out of reach.

He also said stores lose customers by focusing on hard-core musicians rather than parents or more casual customers.

Juskiewicz says Gibson has protected their retail customers by refusing to have an online store, but that will likely change soon.
