You’ve probably heard the metaphor Don’t Shoot the Messenger
Well, here at WCSX, we are only the messengers…

It’s March now and that means the end is near, the end of winter that is. Leaves will appear in the treetops, the ground will be green again, flowers will bloom and oh yeah, those dreaded construction barrels will rear their ugly heads yet again. And so begins Michigan’s longest season – Road Construction.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has provided a list of over 100 road construction projects – both current and future – to help us with planning our daily commutes and summer road trips.

Affected roads and highways include (but are not limited to): I-75, I-94, I-96, I-696, M-1, M-5, M-8, M-39, M-59, M-153, US-24 (Telegraph) and Grand Ave.
