Icelandic actor and super strong human Hafþór Björnsson plays “The Mountain” on Game of Thrones. He’s an enormous person who can lift insanely heavy objects.

Over this past weekend, Björnsson earned a spot in the record books.

Björnsson competed in the 2018 Arnold Strongman Classic and set a world record for the raw deadlift with a 1,041-pound lift. You have to see this to believe it.

Björnsson did way better than his competition, who spewed blood from his face. Strongman Mikhail Shivlyakov looked like something out of a horror movie. He was attempting a 963-pound (426 kg) dead lift. (Be warned, it's kind of gross)
