Fleetwood Mac singer and keyboardist Christine McVie on the experience of recording “Say You Love Me” with Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks having just joined the band. OC:…of course. :27

“We did ‘Say You Love Me’ [to] start with, y’know, and Lindsey just started picking it up right away. And when I started singing the chorus part they were really hot on harmonies anyway and they both kind of looked at each other and they just fell right into it. And I was singing away, I was going, ‘Is this me singing?’ I mean, there’s these three great harmonies coming out, y’know, something which happened so quickly. We just all looked around with massive goose bumps on us and said, ‘We’re not going to like this very much, are we?’ — being facetious of course.”
