Alice Cooper Says Paul McCartney Is A Hollywood Vampire For Life
Alice Cooper and Joe Perry are huge rock stars in their own right. The duo teamed up to create 2/3’s of the band Hollywood Vampires, who released their debut album in 2015.
Despite their own massive accolades, they were both in awe of the guest musician they secured for the album.
The Vampires’ record features a cover of Badfinger’s “Come And Get It”, which was written by Paul McCartney. The former Beatle joined the band to play on the recording.
Cooper says the band couldn’t believe that they were in the presence of McCartney, who just came in and knocked out the song, despite the fact he hadn’t played it since writing it in 1969.
Initiation into the Vampires involves a ceremony of dipping a Red Vine into guacamole and eating the entire thing, which McCartney passed, earning him the title of “Vampire for life”, according to Cooper.
