Sammy Hagar Helps Out Band Whose Gear Was Stolen

Sammy Hagar recently stepped in to help out a band after all their equipment was stolen - because he says the same thing once happened to him.

San Fransisco-based band The Stone Foxes lost $70,000 worth of gear when their van was stolen from a hotel parking lot. Fans started a GoFundMe, which caught Hagar's attention.

Hagar shared the link with his followers, encouraging fans to help out and adding "I had a similar experience early on pre-Montrose."

The Stone Foxes called Hagar "a sweet man" and say they've learned a lesson about the importance of insurance.
