Meet The 96-Year-Old Grandma Who Fronts A Metal Band
Is there anything more metal than a 96-year-old Holocaust survivor who fronts a death metal band? You’d have to ask Inge Ginsberg.
Ginsberg was born in Austria and fled to Switzerland to escape the Holocaust. She and her husband worked as Hollywood composers during the 50’s and 60’s, but at age 93 she decided her poetry was more suited for death metal.
Now Ginsberg is the subject of a documentary called “Death Metal Grandma” and was recently profiled by the New York Times.
