Deen Castronovo so badly wanted to be a member of KISS, even for one day, that he offered the band $10,000 just for the opportunity to jam with them.

The former Journey drummer didn't even want to do it live in front of an audience, he would have settled to play two songs during a sound check.

Speaking to Legendary Rock Interviews, Castronovo said he asked his manager to get ahold of KISS' manager and offer the money to any charity the band picked, but it wasn't meant to be.

Castronovo will finally get his chance to at least share the same stage as his favorite band when he joins them along side his new band, The Dead Daisies, on the KISS Kruise this fall.
