OSU Channels Their Inner Queen
The Ohio State Marching Band’s tribute to Queen has lots of people talking, but no one was more stunned than guitarist Brian May…During half-time at Saturday’s game against Oregon State University, the band took the field to perform pieces of the British rockers most famous songs.
The OSUMB played “We Will Rock You”, “Fat Bottomed Girls”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, and “Bohemian Rhapsody,” all while in a formation that spelled out Queen’s iconic logo.
May checked out the clip before hitting the stage for their Las Vegas residency show, commenting on Twitter that, “This is truly amazing! What an incredible amount of work went into this performance.” Were you part of a marching band in school? What songs did you perform? Can you still play your instrument today?
