Cleveland Browns fans in bars across Ohio received free beer Thursday night, as the team snapped a 19-game winless streak with a 21-17 win against the New York Jets.
Before Thursday, the Browns' last win came Dec. 24, 2016. Since then, Cleveland had 19-game winless streak. With such a record, fans needed a little encouragement and Bud Light came to the rescue.
The promotion put special fridges in places across the city that were unlocked as soon as the game ended.
Some of those fridges were locked with smart technology that some Browns' fans couldn't quite grasp.
The best response to the big win for the Browns and Bud Light however, came from the Cleveland Police on social media.
