Clarkston Factoids
- The village of Clarkston was named after the Clark brothers in recognition of all that they had done for the community. Nelson Clark's home was built in 1839 and still stands today at 71 North Main Street.
- Taste of Clarkston is an annual event that turns Clarkston into an outdoor feast. The 21st annual Taste of Clarkston in this Sunday (September 30th)... beginning at the crack of noon.
- In 2008, the pilot for the HBO series, Hung, was filmed in Clarkston's junior high school.
