Photo Jeff Fusco/Getty ImagesRoger Waters welcomes you to the machine that is he. The founding Pink Floyd songwriter is about to release his adaptation of the Igor Stravinsky classic "The Solider's Tale" later this month.
For his reinterpretation of the 1918 theatrical piece, Waters plays every part, acting as both the narrator and the voices of all the characters.
Waters chose "The Soldier's Tale" because he felt a certain kinship with the composer whose, "weight and occasional inaccessibility may perhaps have much in common with" his own music.
Look for an October 26th release via Sony Classical Masterworks.
