The fans have spoken. Bohemian Rhapsody will in fact rock you. The Freddie Mercury biopic has brought in big bucks to the box office.

Centering on the band Queen and their iconic frontman, the movie has earned $50 million in its opening weekend, far exceeding expectations, and coming in just shy of the $52 million it cost to make.

With numbers adjusted for inflation, Bohemian Rhapsody has scored the second highest grossing for a music biopic, just behind Straight Outta Compton.

Despite the huge numbers and audience buzz, critics have given the flick mixed reviews, holding 60% on Rotten Tomatoes.
