The opening cut and third single from The Cars' debut album, "Good Times Roll," was a songs fans wanted to hear played live in the band's early days. There was just one problem, says guitarist Elliot Easton.

“The Cars as a band have a love-hate relationship with that song, because it was a very popular song and we always liked the song, but in the early years we could never get the harmonies as good as they were on the record, and it was always sort of anticlimactic to us to play the song live. Towards the last couple of tours, when we wouldn’t be lynched if we dropped it from the set, we actually dropped it, because we always felt we never really did it justice.”
