For those who don’t remember, pictures surfaced online of a homeless man handing over his last 20 dollars to a women who ran out of gas.
After the picture was shared all over the internet the lady created a Go-Fund Me page as a way to repay the homeless man which we now know was a massive scam!

The women and her husband got together with the homeless man and created this horrible plan right before taking the photos and creating the Go-Fund Me page.
The police started to investigate the scam after the homeless man Johnny Bobbitt, told them he wasn’t getting the money that was raised for him.
Bobbitt was arrested Wednesday night by U.S. marshals in Philadelphia and remained in custody Thursday on probation detainers and a $50,000 bond. A message was left with a previous attorney of Bobbitt’s.
D’Amico and McClure surrendered to authorities Wednesday night and were released. Their attorney said they have no comment. All were charged with theft by deception.
Burlington County prosecutor Scott Coffina announced criminal charges against the couple who told the story to newspapers and television stations along with the homeless man who conspired with them to tell the story.
