Def Leppard: Fans Made Us Care About The HOF
Def Leppard spent years downplaying the importance of getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But frontman Joe Elliott says the fans changed all that.
Elliott says knowing the fans pushed so hard to get Def Leppard into the Hall made the band care just as much.
He says the fans “gave us a reason to care” and says they got the news while on tour in Glasgow, Scotland – which proves that Def Leppard is a true working band.
Def Leppard won the Hall of Fame’s online fan vote and will enter the Hall next year along with Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, The Cure, Roxy Music, The Zombies, and Janet Jackson.
