It isn't uncommon for a band to have only one main vocalist. We've seen it many times, from Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones to Alice Cooper to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. But what about the bands who have more than one lead vocalist? There are more than you might think. Check out the list of classic rock bands with more than more lead singer!

The Beatles

John Lennon and Paul McCartney are each responsible for the Beatles' lead vocals. Lennon sang lead on a number of Beatles' hits, including: "A Day in the Life", "Help!", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "I Am the Walrus" and "Come Together", while McCartney has his own of list of songs he sang, including: "All You Need Is Love", "Penny Lane", "Let It Be", "Helter Skelter" and "Hey Jude".

Eagles

Don Henley sings lead on a number of Eagles hits as well, including: "One of These Nights", "Best of My Love", "Life in the Fast Lane" and "Desperado".

Glenn Frey of course sings lead on a majority of Eagles songs, including: "Peaceful Easy Feeling", "Already Gone", "Take It Easy", Tequila Sunrise",  "Lyin' Eyes", "New Kid in Town", "Heartache Tonight" and more.

And then, there's  Joe Walsh,who has lead vocals on "In the City" and has even sang lead on "Life in the Fast Lane".

As much as Don Felder may have wanted to sing lead, he only got one Eagles song to himself, singing lead on "Visions".

Timothy B. Schmit takes over "I Can't Tell You Why" and "Love Will Keep Us Alive" with his vocals.

And no has been able to sing "Take It To the Limit" quite like Randy Meisner in hitting those high notes. 

Fleetwood Mac

Stevie Nicks sings lead on a majority of Fleetwood Mac songs, but not all of them. Stevie's lead vocals can be heard on: "Dreams", "Rhiannon", "Go Your Own Way" and  "Landslide", to name a few.

Christine McVie sings lead on a number of songs she wrote, including "You Make Loving Fun", along with "Hold Me" and "Don't Stop" -  both songs in which Lindsey Buckingham shares the vocals .

KISS

Paul Stanley sings lead vocals on most KISS songs, including: "Detroit Rock City", "Love Gun' and Lick It Up", to name a few.

On the other hand, .Gene Simmons sings lead on a number of KISS songs as well, most notably "Rock & Roll All Nite" and "Cold Gin".

Pink Floyd

Roger Waters sang lead on "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." David Gilmour joined Waters in singing lead on "Another Brick in the Wall", along with "Run Like Hell" and "Hey You." David Gilmour  also sang lead on "Young Lust", "Wish You Were Here" and "Welcome to the Machine". Gilmour joined Richard Wright for lead vocals on "Us and Them" and "Time".
