The new David Bowie app allows you to explore the David Bowie Is V&A exhibition which after years of touring has been shut down…
The new app is centered around the David Bowie Is V&A exhibition. First shown at the famed London museum back in 2013, the exhibition paid homage to David Bowies life and his music and shut permanently on July 15 2018 after years of touring.
Now, fans will be able to explore the exhibition in a whole new way as they interact with “the show’s hundreds of costumes, videos, handwritten lyrics, original works of art, and more”.
Actor Gary Oldman will narrate a new reality app.
The app was announced last year, and launches today on what would have been Bowie’s birthday
Oldman on the app: “This brings the amazing David Bowie is exhibition to a wider audience, “It’s great that his fans get to experience it. It was a privilege to be involved.”
The app launches today on iOS and Android.
