This may be one of the oddest places the police have ever found a man...

A Trenton man was arrested over the week after police found him crawling around in storm drains in Wyandotte.

In their "week in review" social post, the Wyandotte Police Department shared a rather bizarre encounter.

"A Trenton man was arrested for disorderly conduct after we found him crawling around in storm drains. We were called regarding someone tampering with the manhole lids. An officer arrived and found a manhole lid left half open. The officer looked into the storm drain and saw the man who happened to be dressed in a neon green hoodie. When the officer ordered the man to come out he “froze up” as if he couldn’t be seen if he didn’t move. After a short while the man climbed out and continued his antics by refusing to tell us his purpose for being in the storm drains or any of his information. Officer’s smelled booze on the man and observed several beer cans around the manhole lid. SMH"

Police say the officer told the man to come out of the storm drain, but the man "froze up as if he couldn't be seen if he didn't move."

The man climbed out of the drain shortly after, but refused to disclose why he was in the drain or give up his identity.

There were "several beer cans around the manhole lid" and the officer said he smelled alcohol on the man's breath.

We believe this is how it looked:

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
