LOS ANGELES, CA – NOVEMBER 1: A police officers look over a car attacked with gunfire during a road-rage incident on November 1, 2006 in the Koreatown section of Los Angeles, California. A series of high-profile murders, including the recent shooting deaths of three people in a restaurant, has many Koreatown residents afraid to go out after dark and local businessmen fearing a negative effect on South Korean investors and tourists. So far this year, Koreatown homicides have jumped 40 percent as rapes increased 47 percent and robberies 11percent. Koreatown has been growing its trendy section of luxury condominiums, fancy restaurants and nightclubs, and exclusive stores since it was hard-hit by the 1992 Los Angeles riots and gangs persist in Koreatown and the surrounding areas. Watch as a road rage incident leaves a man holding onto the hood of a car for over 3 miles...

A road rage incident in Massachusetts nearly turned fatal for a 65-year-old man, who found himself clinging to the hood of an SUV for three miles as it sped along at 70 miles per hour

The harrowing incident was sparked by a fender bender involving Richard Kamrowski and 37-year-old Mark Fitzgerald on Interstate 90 near Boston. After exchanging words, Fitzgerald got back into his Infinity SUV and began driving off, police say. So Kamrowski jumped onto the hood in an attempt to get him to stop. But he didn't.

Video taken by another motorist shows Kamrowski holding on for dear life as Fitzgerald speeds through traffic, periodically turning on his windshield wipers to help break the grip of his unwanted passenger. At one point Kamrowski can be seen trying to call for help on his cell phone. The ride finally ends when another motorist points a gun at Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and Kamrowski has been charged with disorderly conduct.

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
