After a 38-year career that's seen them shout at the devil, smoke in the boys' room and kick start hearts, the members of Motley Crue are gearing up to flip the switch for this year's NASCAR Cup Series Auto 400 race.

The group has been named this year's grand marshals for the March 17 event, which will be staged at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

Their responsibilities as grand marshals will include delivering the famed race kickoff, "Drivers, start your engines!"

Bassist Nikki Sixx says he's "super stoked" about the upcoming gig, while drummer Tommy Lee adds, "Growing up, we were race car fans and dreamed of fast cars."
