Almost Led Zeppelin Tour Gave Slash His Singer
It turns out Led Zeppelin was preparing to go out on tour almost a decade ago, but, perhaps, it wasn’t meant to be. However something great did come out of those plans, for Slash anyway.
Speaking Bayrock Drive, the top hat wearing guitarist describes how thanks to the British rock legends, he got his singer.
Slash says he was looking for a vocalist back in 2010 and reached out to Myles Kennedy because, “He had just worked with Led Zeppelin for a tour that they were going to do at the time. So I thought, he must be good, right?”
Recalling he was “just blown away” by Kennedy, Slash asked him to join his group.
