Steve Perry released a new video for “We’re Still Here” in honor of the deluxe edition release of his album Traces.

Perry referred to the video as his “first official music video in nearly 25 years” to Rolling Stone. The video shows Perry driving around notable areas in Los Angeles. He said the treatment for the video came to him when first working on the song in a studio in LA.

“When we broke for dinner, I went to this place down the street, and that was the first time I’d been in Hollywood in a long time,” said Perry.  “There I was on Sunset Blvd. and Hollywood and Vine just walking around. I saw a whole new generation of 16- and 17-year-olds running around just … alive. And through these kids I felt a kinship. We’re still here doing the same thing.”

The deluxe edition of Traces, which features five bonus tracks, is available at StevePerry.com.
