‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ Gas Station Welcomes Overnight Guests

It's been 45 years since the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" was released, and people are still cashing in on it.

One of those people is Ben Hughes, who owns the Austin gas station that was featured in the 1974 film. Well, it's actually been converted to a restaurant, but at least it's called "The Gas Station." In addition to serving an assortment of barbecued foods, the tourist attraction gives fans a chance to see a replica of the van the victims drove and a "Coca-Cola machine that looks exactly like that one from the movie," Hughes says. Plus, it has four bungalows out back so people can even spend the night.

But don't expect to run into Leatherface while you're there. "We want to make sure that everybody that comes out has a good time and not just freakin' out or anything like that," Hughes says.
