Man Trying To Impress Girlfriend Gets Car Stuck On Carmel Beach

This is why you shouldn’t try showing off. It will only leave you embarrassed. A young California man learned that lesson the hard way as well as finding out that even though it has nothing to do with the sweet treat, Carmel Beach lives up to its name.

Driving his car on to the sand one Saturday night in an effort to impress his girlfriend, the 20-something-year-old man became stuck, unable to get back up the hill.

Realizing he wasn’t getting out of this sticky situation anytime soon, the man had no choice but to call the Carmel-by-the-Sea police, telling them, “I messed up. I’m stuck. I need help.”

Officers arrived and ticketed the driver for driving on the beach.
