Big Jim’s House Vacation
In the age of social media, it’s easy to log on and immediately start comparing your life with your friends and peers. Of course, as we all know, you can’t believe everything you see or read on social media…
Case in point, Fake a Vacation dot com.
That’s right! You don’t have to leave your house or desk at work to have a kick-ass vacation. Now, you can simply get photoshopped images of yourself at beautiful and popular vacation spots… but it will cost you. (Some money and probably all of your dignity.)
How much? The prices vary depending on vacation “destination,” but they run anywhere from $19.99 for a single image to $199 for a custom package.
They offer photoshopped images at locations like: Las Vegas, Orlando, Disneyland, Hawaii, Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon. But if you’ve always dreamed about not going on other trips to other cities, there is also a custom package, so you can choose your…let’s be honest… background scenery.
You may be thinking this is pathetic and that the whole point of a vacation is for the experience, the memories, the ability to relax or even disconnect from technology. Of course, not everyone has the same mentality when it comes to “living their best life.”
According to Fake a Vacation, more than 33% of men say they have faked a vacation and 56% of millennials have done it too.
Vacations are expensive and almost always over budget. So next time when you can’t make a vacation, fake a vacation.
Big Jim’s House took a little excursion of our own and ended up a mile high in Colorado, visiting the Rocky Mountains.
