Game of Thrones Meets Dittrich Furs

Keith Wisniewski is a freelance creative director and writer. While watching Sunday’s first episode in the eighth season of “Game of Thrones,” he was reminded of a classic 1981 commercial from the Detroit retailer.

Dittrich, now in its fifth generation of family ownership, still sells furs on Third Avenue in Detroit’s New Center area and on Woodward in Bloomfield Hills.

Here is its best-known commercial, 30 seconds of visual and jingle brilliance:

 

 

Another creative Twitter account went next level with a scene from last weeks episode. They put AC/DC’s Hells Bells over the scene.

Now this may be the best Game of Thrones video you’ll see all day! Someone put together the dragon scene from Game of Thrones and a scene from Never Ending Story at it is amazing!
