A family of 10 adults and a handful of kids visited Sagano Japanese Steakhouse in Warren for a Mother's Day meal. They asked for five separate tabs and in the meantime, they split - skipping out on a  $530 bill.

The restaurant was able to catch the large group of people on surveillance during their dine and dash.

The police surveyed the footage; two women were identified and will face charges - one of them a Detroit police officer.

The day after this story aired on FOX2, a friend of the party went to the restaurant to pay the bill. As it turns out, she was a Detroit police officer herself.

"I was surprised they been charged for this crime but I thought after they paid everything was done," said Yukio Oki, restaurant manager. "As far as I'm concerned they paid, they apologized, and I would like to forget about it," he said.

The two women are facing a 90-day misdemeanor. They are expected to be in court today (Thursday).

Oki said he hopes they learned a lesson.
