Local Veteran Robbed, Now Asking for Assistance
A Detroit man, father and a disabled Veteran is now the victim of theft at gunpoint.

Early Memorial Day morning Daniel Chapman was leaving the store around 1 A.M. when he was approached by a man with a gun pointed at him. The man demand money and the keys to his truck.

Chapman is currently out of work due to a broken ankle and therefore allowed his health insurance to lapse and is not in the best position financially.

Chapman is father to a 14-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son, who has autism.

He says all he really wants is to replace the truck that took years for him to get. He said someone suggested he create a GoFundMe page.
