A woman in Ohio recently found out her golden retriever had eaten over five pounds of rocks from her backyard. 

It turns out they’d been barbecuing, and someone had poured the juices from their meal on the rocks.  Luckily she took the dog to the vet, and he was able to pass the rocks without surgery.

WELLINGTON, Ohio -- Every owner will tell you dogs eat the "darndest" things, but even veterinarians were surprised when they X-rayed a local dog's bloated belly. "It was a shock to everybody. It was cool to see an X-ray like that, but at the same time when it's your dog it's a little scary," " said Laurie, the dog's owner.
