A 6 year old dubbed “Coach Drake” by the Kalamazoo Growlers’ players and field manager Cody Piechocki has gotten the attention of hundreds of thousands on social media. A video of the clever pitching coach visiting the mound to regroup the starting pitcher and the rest of the Growlers’ infield head nearly 400,000 thousand views on Twitter by late Tuesday.

The 6 year old’s motivational speech during the July 5th game has apparently worked, since the mound visit during a game against the Kokomo Jackrabbits the team has won three of its last four contests.
