Today (January 10) is Rod Stewart‘s birthday, and considering how “Carpool Karaoke” has been one of the most popular bits in the late-night world for the past few years, we thought we’d look back on Stewart’s installment from The Late Late Show with James Corden.
The nine-minute clip below is chock-full of incredible moments and fun facts. (Example: We learn how long it takes Rod to do his hair, and that Faces were banned from checking in at the Holiday Inn, so they used a clever alias to make reservations.)
Add in some air guitar, learning the inspiration for “Maggie May” and a very flamboyant rendition of “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?” and you have one of the best “Carpool Karaoke” segments ever!
