The Pentagon has officially released three videos of UFOs. The US Defense Department actually describes them as unidentified aerial phenomena and the footage had previously been revealed in "unauthorized releases in 2007 and 2017". It said it was officially sharing images now to end speculation amid the world's ongoing fascination with UFOs and the way the Pentagon handles them.
The 2004 incident was documented by two airmen in the New York Times three years ago, when they described the object as 40 feet (12.19m) long and oval in shape.
Commander David Fravor was flying one of two fighter jets that were sent out to take a look at the object in 2004. He told the New York Times that when he got close "it accelerated like nothing I've ever seen".
The other videos, from 2015, contain commentary from the men who captured the footage.
One, titled Go Fast, starts with a small white object moving rapidly through the frame before the viewfinder locks onto it.
