Cedar Point is gearing up to reopen.

The Sandusky, Ohio, theme park will open first for season pass holders on Thursday, July 9, and then for daily ticket holders on Sunday, July 12.

Everyone heading to Cedar Point, including season pass holders, must make a reservation online to ensure the park stays at limited capacity. Season pass holders will be able to make reservations first, followed by attendees who already purchased day tickets.

Those who haven’t purchased a part ticket or season pass yet will be able to make reservations at a later date.

Some of the new public health precautions to expect at the park include a health screening declaration via the Cedar Point mobile app 24 hours before going to the park, touchless temperature screening before to entering the park, masks (which are required) and social distancing.

Other precautions include touchless transactions, limited guest/associate contact, enhanced cleaning procedures, capacity management throughout the park, new hand sanitization stations and more.
