Fireworks Are Legal in Michigan Now Through July Fourth, But Here Are the Rules
It’s officially the week of July Fourth, and that means, it’s fireworks time.
Starting today (June 29), it’s legal to light fireworks across Michigan through the night of July Fourth.
But, you can’t just light them whenever you wish. Fireworks are legal from 11 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. each day.
Setting off fireworks outside those times could cost you a $1,000 ticket.
Also, fireworks are not allowed to be set off on public property, at schools or at churches.
