“A COUSIN OF MINE WAS SET TO GET MARRIED ON AUG. 28 AT LOFT 310 IN KALAMAZOO. SHE DECIDED TO CANCEL THE 200-PERSON WEDDING DUE TO COVID-19, OBVIOUSLY. THE VENUE IS REFUSING TO RESCHEDULE OR REFUND ANY OF THE $14,000 THE COUPLE PAID THEM.
ON MAY 4, THE VENUE OFFERED TO RESCHEDULE FOR NEXT YEAR. THE COUPLE RESPONDED WITH A NEW SUGGESTED DATE FOR 2021 ON MAY 11. THE VENUE DIDN’T RESPOND UNTIL JUNE 1 AND SAID THEIR POLICY HAD CHANGED AND NO RESCHEDULING WOULD BE ALLOWED. HAVE THE WEDDING ON THE 2020 DATE & NO REFUND”
