Detroit Lions Put Matthew Stafford on the Reserve/COVID-19 List
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has been put on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, according to a release from the Lions.
Being put on the Reserve/COVID-19 list means Stafford either tested positive for COVID-19 or or has been quarantined after being in close contact with an infected person.
If a player has either of the above, their team must place the player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Teams are not permitted to disclose additional details on the player’s medical status unless referring to his active status on the roster.
Stafford was put on the list once earlier this year.
